‘My dear young lady,’ said the Professor, suddenly looking up with a very sharp expression at both of them, ‘there is one plan which no one had yet suggested and which is well worth trying.’
‘What’s that?’ said Susan.
‘We might all try minding our own business,’ he said.
Susan still felt like she was in a fog. How could she have possibly escaped? What was going to happen now? Would they need to prepare for an attack? All these questions whirled through the queen’s mind as she stood outside Victoria’s doors. The girl was tired, she could see that, so she left her alone to wash up and rest before dinner. But Susan found it impossible to relax. Logically, she should feel happy and relieved that Victoria was safe. But try as she might, she couldn’t stop the nagging thoughts.
Everyone is going to want to know about her return. She will announce it at dinner. But Susan knew one person in particular would want to know first.
With great haste, she left her place in front of Victoria’s door and made her way to Adonia’s room. How would she react? Would she be overflowing with joy, or would she worry about Jadis too? More questions and thoughts circled through her mind and before she even knew it, she was in front of the witch’s room. With a deep breath, she gently tapped on the door and waited.
Does anyone wanna start an rp? I don’t have very many at the moment…
((I do! Ooh, I can come to your room and tell you that Victoria’s back!))
That sounds like a good idea! :D
((Ok :D I’ll make a starter :) ))
Just a few reasons why Sarah should be bored more often…
Please no.
You were saying?((They look great! Why are you embarrassed, Sarah?))
I don’t like other people showing off my work unless I give permission. It makes me feel a bit uncomfortable…
I think they’re cool.
As Becca continues to post…lol

Susan gently nodded her head. Victoria seemed to have no idea the danger that may yet be upon them, but for now, she hid her fear. This was a time of celebration. She was back. “Well, we could not be more excited that you have escaped,” she said with a smile. “I’ll bring you to a room to so you can freshen up and we will tell the others. You must be very tired and hungry.”
Victoria was greatful that so far no one was mad at her. Smiling, she nodded. “Thank you, your majesty. I’m very glad that I’m welcomed here after all that has happened…” she sighed. “But, yes, I’m awfully tired… I never rested for the the two days that it took me to get here. I just ran.”
Susan simply grinned and nodded. Her mind was exploding with fear, shock, and confusion, and it was keeping her from finding the right words to say. She would definitely be having a very long conversation with Victoria later after she had had time to recover. “Here, come with me,” she said, and continued walking down the hallway towards one of the guest rooms.
“Sneaking down where!? How could I have snuck down here when I don’t even know where I am?” exclaimed Eustace, throwing his hands up in the air in frustration.
Susan stared at Eustace with a blank expression. Once thing everyone knew about him was that he was not a good actor, no matter how hard he tried to be, and at this moment, he was definitely not acting… “You…you really don’t know where we are, do you?”
“Of course I don’t know where I am!” Eustace gestured at the room wildly. “Why would I come to somewhere that looks like a medieval kitchen? I’m sure it doesn’t even have distilled water here!”
“Eustace, you’re in Narnia! Have you forgotten already…?”
((Emma, check your askbox XD))
((ohmygoodness, did you send it!?))
“Narnia?” Eustace snorted and shook his head. “As if I’d believe that rubbish. Honestly, Susan, I thought you were rather better than that. Has Lucy gotten to you, too?”
((Not the first one, but I might have sent the second one…I don’t know…XD And btw check your askbox again))
Susan continued to stare at him. What in the world had gotten into him all the sudden? The queen shook her head and without warning walked towards him and grabbed his arm. “Come with me,” she said, and began dragging him out of the kitchens. “And be quiet.”
